General Information

This Privacy Policy („Policy”) describes the data handling principles and practice of this website and was drafted in compliance with the provisions of the 2016/679 Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council („GDPR” - General Data Protection Regulation) and the Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on Freedom of Information („Info Act”) by the operator of the website (Hungary for Events, „Operator”).

A visitor of this website or anyone who uses any of the services of this website is considered to be a user („User”). By accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy, the User agrees to the terms and conditions of the Policy and acknowledges that any site-related services (Google.com, E-mail service provider) are subject to their own Privacy Policy published on their own websites.

I. Principles of Data Management

This Information Sheet on our website contains the principles on the management of the data received from the users. These principles were established and also followed by the Operator as Data Manager. The principles are in line with existing data protection legislation. The Operator protects the personal information of the users with due diligence. Security measurements (such as a secured http connection) are taken in order to protect our website from unauthorized use and the privacy of the personal information of our users.

The Privacy Policy of the Operator is based on the consent of the user (following the appropriate access to information). In certain cases (such as an order of our product or service), our Policy is based on a contractual or other legal obligation between the parties. The Operator aims to implement these policies during all phases of the use of our services. The visitors of the website use the service voluntarily. By accepting this Privacy Policy, the User consents to the use of their personal data submitted by and collected from them while using the website. The data is used solely for the purposes previously agreed upon by the User (for e.g.: fulfilling the contractual terms of our services).

Right to Information:
The User in entitled to receive appropriate information about the data management prior to giving consent to it or providing any of their personal data. We have drafted this Privacy Policy to grant this right.

Right to Access:
The User is entitled to request information about the data handled by the Data Manager. Information about the source of data, the purpose and legal basis of handling the data, the duration of data management, the names and addresses of any data manager and any other activities related to the data management shall be provided for the Users. (See general information in the section about the data management.)

Right to Correction:
The User is entitled to request the correction or modification of their personal data handled by the Data Manager.

The period of data handling:
The Operator keeps the User’s data until the use of them is required to fulfil the purpose of their collection (such as providing services, legal and accounting obligations) or until the User requests them to be deleted.

Right to Withdraw, Right to Delete (Right to Forget):
In case of consensual data handling, the User is entitled to withdraw the consent anytime and to request their personal data to be deleted. This however does not affect the lawfulness of the data handling prior to the withdrawal. Following the request of the User, the deleted data shall no longer be recovered.

Right to Objection:
An Objection is a statement made by the User concerning the handling of their personal data and requesting the termination of data handling and the deletion of their data. The Operator collects the personal data with the consent of the User and stores it in accordance with the purposes for which the data was provided, thus the Objection of the User is in fact a request to delete their data. The data which is required according to legal and accounting obligations can not be deleted (for e.g. billing information).

Right to Restrict Data Handling (Righ to Block):
The User is entitled to request a restriction on handling their data (data blocking) by the Operator in the following cases:
- if the User disputes the accuracy of their personal data, for the period of time required to verify this,
-if the data handling is illegal, but the User opposes to deleting the data and instead calls for its use and handling to be restricted,
-if the Data Manager no longer needs the personal data, but it can’t be deleted due to certain legal claims and reasons,
-if the User objected to the data handling policies and the legal proceedings in connection with their objection are still not completed.

The personal information subject to a data blocking shall only be handled with the consent of the concerned party or in connection of legal proceedings.

Right to Data Transfer:
The User is entitled to request their data to be provided for them by the Data Manager in a widely used and comprehensible, machine-readable format. Furthermore, the User is entitled to transfer this data to an other Data Manager.

The handling of requests:
The User can submit a request in connection with exercising their data protection rights by writing an e-mail to the following address: hello@hungaryforevents.com The Data manager shall inform the User in the shortest possible amount of time, but in no longer than a month from the receipt of the request via e-mail. This information shall be granted free of charge, if the User has not yet submitted a similar request to the Data Manager in the same calendar year. In every other case, a fee determined by the Data Manager should apply.

The storage of data:
The personal data handled by the Data Manager of this website is stored on servers provided by Intronet Kft. (1137 Budapest, Radnóti Miklós utca 11., fsz.2.).

The transmission of data:
In order to operate the website and provide the services accessible through it, personal data may be transmitted to third party service providers (Data Processors). These transfers to Data Processors determined in this Privacy Policy can be done without the consent of the User. The Data Processors handle the data provided for them according to their own Privacy Policies. We suggest you to review these policies.

The responsibility of the User for the disclosed data:
The Data Manager does not verify the data provided by the User, thus only the User is responsible for the accuracy of this data. Users under the age of 16 can only disclose their data by the consent of their parents or the responsible adult. The Data Manager can not verify either the age and rights of the User, nor the content of their statements, thus the User is liable for the accuracy and the legality of this information. When using our services (such as publishing content, for e.g. a review) and providing information about other natural persons, the User is liable for the required consent of the natural person to be obtained duly and legitimately. If the User provides data belonging to a third party without their consent – either intentionally or negligently –, the User is solely responsible and liable for these actions.

The data privacy incident:
The Operator is not liable for damages caused by or in relation to the behaviours damaging our security systems (including the use or distribution of computer viruses or other malware, the unauthorized access to data, data loss or damage and hacker activities). If the Data Manager becomes aware of a data privacy incident that can not be remedied by appropriate security measures and is likely to pose a high risk to the rights of natural persons, the manager shall inform the Users and the authorities without further delay about the incident.

The scope of this Privacy Policy does not cover the services and data handling of the websites that are linked to this website. Such services are under the scope of the privacy policies of third parties for which the Operator is not liable. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you declare that you have read and understood our data management principles and practices. The Operator reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy anytime. Upon their next log-in to the website, the User accepts the applicable and updated provisions of the Privacy Policy. We recommend that you read our Privacy Policy from time to time to be aware of any changes. If you do not accept our Privacy Policy, you shall not use our website.

II. Data Management Practices – ordering a product or a service

Ordering one of our products or services is possible upon providing the following data: name, e-mail address, phone number and by ticking the checkbox stating that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the provided data. The personal information provided upon filling the order form is not stored on our website, but it is sent to the technical e-mail address of our system together with the name of the order. The successful information transfer is indicated by a confirmation in a popup window. As our system does not store the personal data required for the order, the User shall re-enter their data every time.

The legal basis of data handling is the consent of the User, which is reflected in the fact that they provide their data voluntarily when placing an order.

II. Data Management Practices – the use of the messaging application

Using our messaging application is possible upon providing the following data: name, e-mail address, phone number and by ticking the checkbox stating that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the provided data. The personal information provided upon sending a message is not stored on our website, but it is sent to the technical e-mail address of our system. III. Handling of other data – Cookie policy

Our website uses cookies (small data files) that are stored on the User’s computer or mobile device. Our website collects and stores information needed to manage certain parts of the site, for user workflows, for customised service and to improve user experience using cookies. These cookies do not contain personal information and are not capable of identifying the User on their own.

Technical and Temporary Cookies:
The data management if primarily of a technical nature: certain cookies are essential for the system to function, to browse and use the site, while other cookies serve to improve the user experience. The data managed by the system technically: the data about the User’s computer which are generated upon access of the website. This data is managed by the system of the Data Manager as an automatic result of the technical processes. By using cookies, the website temporarily stores certain actions and options of the User to provide better user experience (temporary cookies). These temporary cookies store for example the parameters and data of the service/product you want to order.

Upon accessing the website, the IP address of the User is stored without further consent according to the lawful interest of the Data Manager and to provide a legitimate service (for instance to filter unauthorised use and illegal content and to protect the personal data of the Users). The IP address is a unique numerical label assigned to computer that are connected to a network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. The IP address of a User is only identifiable if the service provider identifies the subscriber to the request of the authorities.

Cookies of external service providers:
Another purpose of the data collection is to analyse user habits and to generate statistics on visitors which will help to provide better user experience. Our website uses the cookies of an external service provider (Google Analytics) to measure the visitor traffic. These cookies allow us to collect aggregated, statistical data on how our visitors use the website (for e.g.: number of visitors, time spent on one page etc.) without personal identification to further improve user experience. The Privacy Policy of Google Inc. is accessible via https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=hu. The Users of our website acknowledge that upon accessing our website, they give their full consent to Google to handle their data.

Temporary cookies used by our website are deleted upon completing the workflow or closing the website. Most cookies can be deleted from the User’s computer as well and browser can be set-up to disable the application of cookies. The User acknowledges that disabling cookies may prevent the use of certain parts and functions of the website and the user experience may not be full. Cookies handled by external service providers are under the scope of their privacy and cookie policies.
